Gov. Ganduje Proceeds On Annual Leave, To Perform Lesser Hajj

Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has began his annual leave today, (Tuesday) June 14, 2016.

It is expected that the governor would use the period of his leave to perform Umrah (lesser Hajj), in Saudi Arabia.

During Gov. Ganduje’s absence, his deputy, Prof. Hafiz Abubakar will serve as Acting Governor of the state in accordance with constitutional provisions.

The Governor will resume duty at the expiry of the leave.
