Saraki, Ahmed, Others Congratulates Atunwa As He Receives License As Private Pilot

The Senate President, the Kwara state governor and others have congratulated Rt. Hon Razak Atunwa as he convocates as the first "executive private pilot" at the Ilorin Aviation College (IAC).

In his remark on his Twitter handle, Senator Saraki said "congratulations on your graduation, looking forward to flying with you soon, and I'm happy to see Ilorin Aviation College waxing strong and turning out pilots."

The executive governor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed who presented the private pilot license and certificate to Hon Atunwa expressed his joy over the development. While speaking at the event, Ahmed congratulated Hon Atunwa and commended him for his courage and dedication.

Also speaking at the event, the Rector of IAC, Captain Abdulkarim commended Hon Atunwa's discipline and commitment to the course while studying at the aviation college. "Rt Hon Atunwa was a very dedicated student, he attended all classes and passed all tests and exams.

He arrived classes early, and submit himself humbly to the instructors unlike any VIPs. He broke our record as the first executive private pilot and did over 18 hours of flight" he said.

Responding, Atunwa said it has been his passion to be a pilot. He commended the former Kwara state governor, Senator Bukola Saraki who kick started the aviation college, and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for sustaining the college with dedication. He also commended all the staff of IAC for impacting knowledge in him in their various ways.
