Pdp Adjusts Time-table For 2016 Congresses And National Convention

SAN FRANCISCO, April 20 (THEWILL) – The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has adjusted the timetable for its Congresses and National Convention.

A statement signed by Chief Olisa Metuh, National Publicity Secretary, PDP, declared that the new timetable supercedes the former timetable released by the party.

In the adjusted timetable, the National Convention of the party, where a new Chairman is expected to emerge, will now hold on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

The statement revealed that Ward Congresses is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2016 while Ward Appeal holds on Monday, May 2, 2016.

LGA Congresses will hold on Thursday, May 5, 2016 while LGA Appeal is scheduled for Saturday, May 7, 2016.

The State Congresses was fixed for Tuesday, May 10, 2016 while State Appeal takes place on Thursday, May 12, 2016.

Zonal Congresses holds on Saturday, May 14, 2016 while Zonal Appeal is scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
