Igwe, Fiberesima go for Odeh's seat
With Mrs Odeh, Director-General of the National Film and Censors Board, on her annual leave preceding her bowing out of office, producer/director Mrs Amaka Igwe and Mrs Peace Anyiam-Fiberesima are said to be in the race for the position of DG, NFVCB.

Sources at the Ministry of Information, who craved anonymity, confirmed that both women had submitted their CVs for the job, and have seriously begun to lobby for the post. Industry watchers, though, are of the opinion that Mrs Odeh be allowed to continue, stressing that either Igwe or Fiberesima is not necessarily equipped for the job. To this group, the Lagos zonal officer of the Board may be a better option because of her access to the workings of the Board.
