Boko Haram: Repeled Attack Claims Three Soldiers And Two Vigilante Members In Madagali

The Nigerian troops have repelled a fresh deadly attack by some fleeing Boko Haram insurgents in Izige town of Madagali Local Government Area in Adamawa State.

Reports from the area indicated that the fleeing Boko Haram terrorism lunched the attack in the wee hours of Monday killing three soldiers and two vigilante members but were force to staged a retreat due to superior fire power from the Military.

An eye witness who happens to be a vigilantes member but declined identification in the print said the insurgents were forced to flee after losing many fighters in the encounter.

"They engaged the military for hours, killing three soldiers and two vigilantes members before they were finally over powered and fled through the connecting bush but they removed some corpses of their fighters", he stated.

A fleeing resident of Madagali, Wadzi Amos when interviewed in Yola said the I insurgents were well repelled by the Nigerian armies and Vigilante killing uncountable number of the fleeing Boko Haram.

He also appreciate the effort of the member representing Madagali constituency in the Adamawa House of assembly, Hon Emmanuel Tsandu for encouraging the Army and Vigilante by given them all kinds of support to always fight the insurgents.
