Easter: Adamawa CAN Chairman Begs Govt. To Institute A Peace Committee For Insurgency Ravaged Areas

The Chairman Adamawa state Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Mike Moses is calling on individuals,state Government and Federal Government to initiate a high power committee that will serve as a peace building blocks of insurgency ravaged communities in the North East.

Moses made the call during this year's Easter celebration service in overcomers faith cathedral (OFC) in Yola,where he gave a charged that Jesus is the resurrection power that will make alive every dead issues in the life of everyone.

According to him Jesus has risen to make alive the dead Peace in the entire North East region through the deliberate efforts of all people

"I want a very high power delegation that can initiate a peace process in our ravaged lands, we thank God and we thank the effort of the presence administration of Muhammadu Buhari now peace is gradually returning in our areas, we only have problems interpersonal enmities,suspicious of innocents of being belonging to Boko Haram group". He said

He admonishes both Christian and Muslim to imbibe the spirit of Peace at this very important period.

Mike stressed that it is only when there is Peace economy of a particular place grow to an enviable stage.
