NIMASA probe: Dasuki approved N447m for ISPS – Witness

Mrs. Olamide Odusanya, a prosecution witness in the ongoing trial of former Director-General of Nigerian Maritime Safety and Administration Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Patrick Akpobolokemi, and six others, yesterday told a Federal High Court in Lagos that the sum of N447m paid to the committee on International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code was approved by the office of National Security Adviser, NSA.

Odusanya, an Assistant Director in the International Finance Services Department of the agency, stated this yesterday in her evidence before Justice Ibrahim Buba led court.

Akpobolokemi and five others are standing trial before the court on 22 counts bordering on allegations of conversion and theft in the tune of N2.6 billion leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Charged alongside Akpobolokemi are Captain Ezekiel Agaba, Ekene Nwakuche, Governor Juan, and three companies, namely Blockz and Stonz Limited, Kenzo Logistics Limited and Al- Kenzo Logistic Limited.
