Rivers Rerun: Gunmen Bomb Senator Abe’s Office

BEVERLY HILLS, February 23, (THEWILL) – Some yet to be identified gunmen have attacked the Bori, Ogoni senatorial liaison office of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the March 19th re-run election in Rivers South East Senatorial District, Senator Magnus Abe.

A statement issued on Tuesday by Parry Saroh Benson, spokesperson to the politician, disclosed that the attack was carried out on Monday by some thugs dressed in military uniform.

It was reported that the arsonists carrying sophisticated weapons threw dynamites and bombs into the senatorial office causing staff and visitors at the premises to scamper for dear life.
