I Can Make $1 Exchange For N200 In One Month – Ifeanyi Ubah

SAN FRANCISCO, February 22, (THEWILL) – At a time when the Naira is exchanging N384 to N390 against the U.S dollar with no sign of reprieve in sight, Chairman of Capital Oil and Gas, Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah has claimed that he can restore the Nigerian currency to N200 against the dollar in one month, only if he would be consulted by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The industrialist, who made this claim while featuring in the Channels Television talk-show, Sunday Politics, maintained that the fall in the value of the Naira is not as a result of the activities of the Bureau De Change, BDC, operators; many of whom he lamented have been denied their source of livelihood.

According to him, “Look at the economy, look at the position of the naira today; some of us have ideas on how we can restore this.

“Do you know how many Burea De Change people who food has been taken out of their families because of this? If you say they are the ones causing it, then where are you today?

“It needs strategic management. It won't take me one month, if you give me part of that consultancy, naira would come back to 200. “I can bet my life with it, naira would come back to N200. If you call me for that consultancy, I would put naira back to 200.”

However, when asked by the presenter how he hoped to achieve the feat, Ubah retorted: “Don't worry, that's my business and business is secret.”
