The vice chancellor, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila during a condolence/courtesy visit to Olowu's Palace in Abeokuta, Ogun State, deeply expressed his commiseration on behalf of the university to the family of the monarch and added that the sad news was received with rude shock.

The registrar,Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola observed that proximity of His Royal Majesty to the Proprietor, Judge Bola Ajibola and Crescent University had informed the condolence visit.

Also, the university bursar, Alhaji Ayinla Bankole prayed for the family of His Royal Majesty, Oba Dosunmu and beseeched God to make demise a rest for the deceased.He added that death was a path to be walked through by all mortals.

Responding, the effervescent king, HRM Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu described his deceased son as an achiever whom he loved so much. He added that he had put the incident behind him after several weeks of its occurrence. He remarked that his son had made his mark on the fabric of life before his exit.
