Adamawa PDP State Chapter Endorsed Juta As The National Chairman

The Adamawa state chapter of People's Democratic Party (PDP) today by the decision of the state working committee issued a press release to endorse the candidature of Amb. Wilberforce Juta as the National chairman of the Party.

The release which was issued in Yola having the signature of the party's chairman in the state, Chief Joel Hammanjoda Madaki and states that:

" That,is is imperative the PDP resuscitates itself as key political party for the purpose of both proffering effective opposition and an alternative platform to ruling APC Government.

"That,such a reposition need the support of the people as well as a strong experienced and respectable personality with impeccable integrity to lead the party bad it's National Chairman.

"That, it is in the best interest of the party in the state that the position of the national chairman of the PDP returns to Adamawa state.

"That, it is hereby resolved to support the candidature of Ambassador Wilberforce B.Juta, a former Governor of the defunct Gongola state, one of the founding members of the PDP,a member of G34, first National vice chairman (North East) of the party and currently a member of its Board of Trustee for the exalted post of the National Chairman of PDP.

"It is our conviction therefore, that Amb. Juta can well deliver in this onerous assignment."

The release also states that their decision is taken after wide consultation and calling of party faithful to be patriotic by laying down personal interest to the interest of the party in Adamawa state.

Ambassador Wilberforce Juta and Barr Ahmed Gulak came from the same Northern senatorial zone of Adamawa state and the duo has been jostling for the apex office of the opposition party in the country.

You can recall that Gulak had stormed into the National Secretariat of PDP in Abuja yesterday (Wednesday),had a press conference and was announced the present National Chairman of the party.
