The statement noted that contrary to claims by Chief Ighoyota Amori of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, that Omo-Agege will never be issued the Certificate of Return, “Ovie Omo-Agege as the duly elected Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District is here with the only valid Certificate of Return” for the district.

“Today INEC has executed the lawful final order of the court and there is no going back,” he stated.

The Court of Appeal had in its judgment ordered INEC to nullify and void the Certificate of Return it issued to the PDP candidate as winner of the Delta Central Senatorial District election conducted by INEC on March 28, 2015 and April 25, 2015.

It further ordered the electoral body to issue Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege with a new Certificate of Return as the duly elected Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District of Delta state.

The statement further read, “With this development, there is no doubt anymore that only Obaisi (Barr.) Ovie Omo-Agege can claim to be the true Urhobo senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Anyone else who claim to be a senator representing Delta Central is an impersonator”.

“You all know that it is impossible to shave a man’s head in his absence. Today we have proved that to be true and those who think they can shave Omo-Agege’s head in his absence have failed. God has once again shamed them. This is a divine project and no evil plot can stop it

now.
“Let it be known to all that there are no conflicts or judicial absurdities in the judgement of the Appeal with respect to the Delta Central Senatorial Election.

“Neither has the judgement generated any political crisis and legislative chaos as claimed by the Delta State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in their petition in Vanguard today.

“That petition is not worth the paper it is printed on. It is only in the figment of imagination of the usurpers that such exit. The judgement was celebrated widely and no one can discredit.

“This judgement and the order contained in it are very clear to discerning minds; and it is the final word on this election.”
