Anti Graft Fight: I'm Relief The Fight Against Corruption Is Going Round Our System—ADHA Chief Whip

By Tom Garba, Yola

The Chief Whip of Adamawa state House of Assembly,Hon Hassan Mamman Barguma explained his satisfaction over the anti graft crusade of Muhammadu Buhari to collect back the country's stolen money by Nigerians.

Barguma see the diversion of $2.1 billion by Sambo Dasuki for the purpose of purchasing arms for the fight against insurgency and to protect the country against any aggression as a painful act to every Nigerian that has the Country at heart.

Is equally elited on how the various anti graft agencies are in their toes to arrest any body found culpable, describing it as"a big relief".

" I am in pain and at the same time I am getting relieved that fight against corruption is getting down to even some APC members which are being prosecuted on the arm deals"

The Member Whose constituency he represents is Hong, one of the area that was badly destabilized by Boko Haram cried out that his people wouldn't have face any trouble by insurgents if the arms were purchased.

But he expresses his joy that Buhari is making sure to retrieve the country's monies to any body no matter his or her status in the society, as arrests are ongoing in connection of the arm deal.

"As one who hails from the insurgency prone areas of the Northeast,am in pain that the money earmarked for purchase of fire arms for our security is now the centre of the issue at stake. With the development,we are relieved from the pains of losses of lives and properties in my constituency,Hong, but we are happy that the anomalies are being addressed by Mr President. We pray that such an ugly incident does not happen in the Northeast of the country again." Barguma said

"So as a member of All Progressives Congress, and as an agent of change I will join other Nigerians to encourage the president in his crusade in the fighting against bribery and corruption. We should rally round him throughout his tenure to tackle corruption in high places, there are a lot of financial improprieties everywhere in the country tackling the the aspect of corruption in the arm deal".

"I believe the president will soon go to the oil sector where the corruption profile is apparently high, will also go to education,FCT,energy, transport and other sectors of the economy." He added

According to him these are the sectors that have the highest fraud in Nigeria, which I know he will go to other sectors characterized by corruption.

He called on all Nigerians to be patience as Fighting corruption is not what one will expect to end within one year or two years, but all to be optimistic that fighting corruption head on will not distract the president.
