OWERRI, IMO STATE (8/01/16) -- "The Nigerian print editions of 'The Fundraiser's Handbook' and 'A Successful Acting Career Guide' will be launched on March 19, 2016 at the Rockview Hotel, Owerri, Imo State. The two life-changing books are fresh out of Chuma Mmeka's professional Job Secrets Series. The series hones the skills of enterprising Africans and empowers them with a practical step-by-step insight into several professional areas".

The books - first of its kind ever in Nigeria, are authored by Nigeria’s outstanding skills-box: Chuma Mmeka, a most unique personality. Well structured and instructive from years of experienced practice, the books were birthed to fill major existing gaps in developing Africa.

The first 'The Fundraiser's Handbook' is targeted at African non-governmental and community-based organizations whose paucity of knowledge in effective fund raising techniques and contacts have cost them available funding for viable projects. The book provides a step-to-step guide on how to develop and write fundable proposals, and lists the contacts of 50 international agencies that are known to fund charitable projects in Africa.

The second book 'A Successful Acting Career Guide' is primarily targeted at the multitude of young Africans aspiring to become professional actors and actresses in films and commercials. Due to misinformation and the obvious high competition factor, many performers have been exploited, harassed, or frustrated out of the industry without achieving their dreams. The book provides information and answers to wannabe questions on the required education, skill, performance attitude, and other steps in the clamor for a professional acting career. It provides a step-by-step guide on professional acting packaging and marketing techniques, plus a Dictionary of Acting Terms to help improve industry knowledge in Africa.

Chuma Mmeka is a corporate fundraiser, distinguished poet and professional actor. He is a published author of several motivational books, a humanitarian, customer services executive, and many more. 50% of his earnings from his books and acting career go to support orphans and most vulnerable Nigerian children.
