BEVERLY HILLS, January 09, (THEWILL) – The Department of State Services (SSS) Saturday invited and quizzed the deputy –governor-elect of Kogi State, Hon. James Faleke and Muhammed Audu, the son of Prince Abubakar Audu, the deceased former governor of the state, at the Abuja headquarters of the agency.

TheWill gathered that Faleke was invited to ascertain the authenticity of comments credited to him that he would not present himself for swearing in on January 27, 2016, having petitioned the state elections petition tribunal seeking to be declared as the duly elected governor of the state instead of Alhaji Yahaya Bello that the leadership of the APC picked as a replacement for Audu.

Faleke, who described the meeting as 'a normal invitation', told journalists that he was questioned for about an hour and left afterwards alongside Muhammed.

Some news reports earlier quoting Mr. Duro Meseko, the Director of Media and Publicity of Audu/Faleke Campaign Organisation, claimed they were arrested.
