APC Delta Commends Kachikwu's Pedigree, Track Records At Thanksgiving Reception

It was a family affairs for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State Chapter yesterday December 20th at Onicha Ugbo when the amiable Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum cum Group Managing Director of NNPC, Barrister (Dr) Ibe Kachikwu thanked God during a special Church Service to celebrate his appointment.

Delta APC leader and 2015 governorship candidate, Olorogun Otega Emerhor (OON) with State Party Chairman, Prophet Jones Erue mobilized the entire state party structure to grace the occasion.

State Party Contact Committee Chairman, High Chief - Ayiri Emami (The Akulagba of Warri Kingdom), Chief Frank Ovie-Kokori, Senatorial Leaders, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, Prof. Pat Utomi and many other party chieftains, their spouses and political associates were in attendance.

Olorogun Emerhor described Kachikwu as a humble and effective technocrat with solid pedigree and enviable track records in the oil industry and service to Nigeria and humanity in general.

Emerhor said "As the State Leader of our great party in Delta State, I earnestly look forward to a brotherly and cordial working relationship with the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources. His kind and friendly dispensation is heart warming and I have no doubt in my mind that he will be a great asset to the nation and our party."

Prophet Erue said the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum has been fully integrated into the APC National and State structure, describing him as a man of peace, full of humility and with a performance promise.

Ayiri told newsmen that Kachikwu is one of the best brains in the oil and gas sector and would turn around the fortunes of the industry for the socioeconomic advantage of Nigeria and Nigerians, adding that APC DELTA and Dr Ibe Kachikwu are now integral part of the APC National Government.

Olorogun Jaro Egbo asserted that Kachikwu has become one of the beacons of APC DELTA and as such the party will grow stronger and better while the struggle to take over Delta State from the PDP shall be intensified with sophisticated lawful and Political strategies.

Egbo assured that the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum is a peace loving and perfect gentleman who is fully committed and ready to assist the State Party structure to make additional progress.
