Anambra State Government Cancels Sanitation Exercise

The Anambra State Government hereby informs residents of the state that the usual monthly environmental sanitation exercise of Saturday 28th November 2015 has been cancelled to enable Ndi Anambra & other people coming into Anambra participate in the 50 Years Episcopal Ordination Celebration of Francis Cardinal Arinze.

Government however states that the cancellation should not be misconstrued as an excuse for residents of the state particularly those in Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia and Ihiala to abandon the regular clean up of their homes and surroundings. As a matter of fact, regular clean up of homes, offices and surroundings should be maintained at all times in order to assist government realize its objective of ensuring a clean and healthy Anambra state.
