Emir of Borgu Dead @77

SAN FRANCISCO, October 31, (THEWILL) – Emir of Borgu in Niger State, Alhaji Haliru Dantoro, Kitoro III, 77, has died in a German hospital after a brief ailment. He died on Friday.

THEWILL understands that his remains would be flown back to Niger State todat (Saturday) for burial according to Islamic rites.

The deceased leader became emir in February 2000 following the death of his predecessor, Alhaji Musa Mohammadu.
