Bindow: Adamawa Progressive Governor With Many Developmental Projects In Few Months Of His Stay In Office
The testing ability of one's greatness is beginning at the amount of humility an individual can be,the person must not necessarily have good command of English or an orator. These great virtue of good quality of leadership owned and seen by the amiable Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow.
Meekness and humility are wheels or virtue that take one to high level of greatness, is certainly what catapulted this humble and noble man of the land of beauty.
This is the true nature of Bindow the gallant chief security man of Adamawa state. Having came from the family of a rich Business tycoon,exposed in all sort of business concept and experienced what wealth Creation is through local and international trips. Been a man born with a silver spoon his life of humility marked him out to live a contemporary life with no different to who is who, as is always said that "all men are equal before God" always willing to fight the cause of the down trodden and desiring at all time to help and support all those that cross his path.
A Born business man turned politician began his political career as an ardent supporter of the then ruling party (PDP), seeing the level of commitment was unarguably called to contest the senatorial seat of the Northern zone of the state.
As fate and destiny were in tendent agreement to fulfill God's desires on Bindow the child of necessity .Until he left,history has it that he turned Northern Senatorial zone for good with his high sense of humility he served them well.
BINDOW: A GOVERNOR- LAWMAKER IN POLICY
As a former senator in the National Assembly known much in lawmaking, One of the brilliant thing he do on coming on board as the Governor is about bringing out the best brains in the state to work with, he followed due process by allowing the 22 commissioners to passed through the floor of the House where they were scrutinized.
Jibrilla became duty bound to both the Executive,legislative and even the judiciary by making sure a strong synergy of understanding exist among them, an idea he always feel it will make them better for the good people of Adamawa state.
Knowing the heavy task head to rebuilt the battered economy he carefully considered technocrat with wealth of experience to help him pilot the affairs of the state.
Though young but always exhibiting much maturity with high level of leadership vibrancy and exuberance, showing a very close working synergy with the state's lawmakers at all times.
Jibrilla is a man that believe the executive and lawmakers should not be Cats and Dogs or have a relationship that can be best described to be of "Tom and Jerry".
The three arms especially the executive and the Lawmakers should have a romance relationship that will gear toward bringing development and growth in any given state.
With the kind of Governor now in the Adamawa state ,the House of assembly is always operating as a separate entity no interference by the executive and as such many are smiling a good omen to the people of the state, where peace and harmony will exist between the two arms of Government that will bring meaningful development in the state.
All the lawmakers are in total support with Bindow kind of administration as on recent time they approved a bill that will allow him procure a loan for the state that will carter for the need of all civil servants.
In this his few months and under his leadership, many Bills are being process to become laws, notable of mentioning is a Bill Sponsored by Hon. Hassan M.Barguma to ensure the revival of the ravaged communities in the seven attacked LGA by Boko Haram in the state. According to him there is nothing more important in the areas destroyed by Boko Haram than making sure they revive their means of livelihood.
With hundreds of bills being sponsored by different lawmakers, the present administration seems to have a balance stand point in reviving the state's economy.
BINDOW: GOVERNOR OF THE CIVIL SERVANTS
Just of recent and out of the back load myriads problems created by the past Government on failure to settle salaries,arrears, pension,gratuity and even allowances. The civil servants Governor directed the
Ministry of Finance to pay all outstanding monies owned by the state Government from 2013-2015 in the state.
According to him civil servants in the state are the ones revolving the economy in their hands and he went extra miles to procured a Bailout loan from the Federal Government through the Central
Bank of Nigeria CBN that was amounted to 9.5 Billion naira.
By the approval of his legislature a 1.5 billion loan was also acquired for the payment of the 21 LGAs salaries, arrears, pension and gratuity. This is to have a long solution salaries problems in the Local council and Development areas who have suffered lack of funding by the past Government.
BINDOW FOR SOCIAL
CHANGE (BSC) AN IDEA TO MEET THE NEED OF THE GENERAL MASSES
Part of his agenda is to see every body in the state has a cause to smile not to cry, the Governor of the people draw up a plan that will see to the social need of all and sundry making in Education, Health,Agriculture, Commerce and industries,roads infrastructure and reviving the state's economy for the benefit of the general masses. He vowed and ensure that the plan will be well structured and efficiently implemented of becoming an actual dream.
In other to put smiles in the lips of farmers in the state who are mostly peasants and to also boost the agriculture sector,a 3Billion worth of Fertilizer has been procured by Bindow's to enhance both rainy and dry seasons farming.
Is unarguably to say the few months in office of Governor Bindow are months characterized with steady progress of achievements to the entire people of the state.
Since the inception of this humble but great leader, the state has been experiencing progress in policies making projects, infrastructure progress and bend in sustaining peace that will be transcended to the entire unity of the state.
In his vision to bring a workable solutions to the myriads economy and security problems that halt the state in an almost permanent economic disabilities, Bindow in his own leadership wisdom and support, he enjoys the support of lawmakers,were they approved him to acquire a loan of 8.7 Billion naira in order to redeem the state from economic collapsing.
The loan which will the present administration to channel roads to both urban and rural settlements. The funds which the lawmakers approved will also be directed to rehabilitates Hospitals and other developmental projects.
These roads projects which have been since flagged off in the state capital as some are almost completed to fourty percent completion. Worthy of mentioning is the Waure Jebbe road, Farro water/Adamawa sunshine motor pack junction that will link to the main motor pack, the delipidated road of Karewa ring road to Army Barracks is also near completion and a 23 km road that will bisect the community of Bajabure up to Borrong in Girei and Demsa LGAs was also awarded,the creation of a new road as a bye pass from FGGC to hinter communities of Malkohi to Yola town is another bye pass that will boost serious economy activities in the state. Yola Bye pass received Bindow attention to expand and rehabilitate it to ensure free flow of traffic.
On his doggedness to ensure steady progress in the present administration in order to bring rapid development in the state, the Governor wisely choose to work with 35 Advisers,these are professionals and technocrats that will constructively advice him in any policy making decision, they are to provide good advice to the Governor for the overall development of the state.
The people of Adamawa have equally discovered the able leadership of good governance in Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow.
Some group in the state have seen him as corruption fighter who support the ongoing anti corruption crusade by President Mohamadu Buhari.
Recently the coalition of Adamawa students across the county matched to the Government House chanting songs of solidarity of his spirit in making a corrupt free society and affirming a strong support to the leadership of the the Governor as he promised to support the ongoing war against anti corruption by the President.
the House to support Mr president to fight corruption in the country, he assured them of their dogged fight against corruption.
Bindow was known to be a Man with a listening ear, an attribute that earned him a confidence from different category of people, a group under the auspices of inter- party Advisory council (IPAC) Adamawa state chapter paid him a courtesy visit and adhered to their demands of making the LGAs received full autonomy.
