100 Days In Office: Zenith Bank Donates 10 Security Hilux Vans To Adamawa State Govt

As part of it's corperate social services, the Zenith Bank Plc has on Today donated 10 security Hilux Van to the Adamawa state Government.

While Gov. Jibrilla Bindow on appreciation urged all corporate organizations residents in the state to improve their corporate social responsibility to better the living condition of the people.

He urged companies operating in the state to support the state with some waste evacuation trucks to augment the environmental sanitation in the state.

According to him, the government cannot do all alone.

He recalled that Zenith bank had in the past collaborated with the past administrations to defraud the state.

He however, commended the bank for the gesture, calling on other organizations to emulate them.

``We are happy with what you have done today, because we need security vehicles.

``Although you had connived with past administrations in the state to milk our recourses but with this gesture, I am pleased with you.

``I will advise other corporate organizations to emulate what zenith bank has done.

``To me, this is the beginning of more good things to come.’’

Earlier, Mr Karl Akwarandu, Assistant General Manager In charge of North East zone who made the presentation commended the governor for providing adequate security for the state.

According to him, the new administration has provided a secured ground for more investment in the state.

Akwarandu said the donation of the vehicles was part of its corporate social responsibility, adding that the bank had contributed to various sectors in the state in the past.

``Your 100 days have brought massive constructions, massive social change and a breath of fresh air to the state.

``We are grateful for your reception and good will to the bank.

``This is part of our corporate social responsibility and we want to be part of your transformation.’’
