APC USA International Secretariat Declares A Vote Of No Confidence On “Peace Committee”

There are too many malodourous stories being circulated in the media about a so-called “Peace Committee”, most of them are absurd. Think Nigerians have suddenly forgotten their individual and collective past ills? Sorry, social media is awake and alert doing justice to the nation as it should be. The era of cut and paste and cooking books are long overdue.

We strongly recommend, with immediate effect, “A Vote of No Confidence” on the so called and alleged “Peace Committee”, with further delays. They should be disbanded and relieved of their duties before the appointment of ministers in September. Again, to show examples that no one is above the law, the constituent of this committee is unacceptable and must go!

Before letting go, the Peace Committee must declare their individual assets openly, to the general public and to the international communities. This will set examples to subsequent ones, while enumerating their terms of reference and duration, except otherwise, if this Peace Committee is Non-Governmental Organization, if so others should be vetted and given equal opportunity to do same.

Without mincing words the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) must swing into action, because of valuable information and clues reaching the public, otherwise, we count EFCC as partial.

This publication is considered communication to the international communities, that this Peace Committee is expired. We have confidence in our declaration and acceptable by the international communities. If by chance, refusal to accept our declaration, Nigerians will assume they are part various issues and activities in Nigeria, without the progress of Nigeria in mind, while taking advantage of the nation through such groups.

It must be clear to all, Nigeria has come of age, the effectiveness of the press and social media can’t be overemphasized and the solidary groups, in the likes of Comrade Barrister Solomon Dalung be lauded. We appreciate their steadfastness at all times and especially at the recent anti-corruption rally at Abuja today. We also applause members of APC USA International Secretariat who were in attendance, especially Mr. William John (United Kingdom), Diaspora Woman Leader, Ms. Mesi Ada Usiade and APC USA International Secretariat Local Organizing Committee.

People should not be reaping royalties from where they did not sow. Which of them sowed seeds for change that led to advent of President Buhari. Yes or No, what did they forget in the office. Otherwise, we advise henceforth, wait and recontest in four (4) years for Nigerians to votes.

Meanwhile, we observed it’s only the Soja that have been parading the villa, this should be so, all Nigerians must be given equal opportunity to meet and greet with President Muhammadu Buhari, including and not limited to Diaspora Nigerians. Soja boys should please excuse this administration and there’s the need to reiterate President Buhari’s victory was influenced by masses.

Mention just one of them who worked relentlessly for President Muhammadu Buhari to come into power, including cleric and traditional rulers. All of them feared him and never wanted him in power. Please leave and let go our dear President Muhammadu Buhari.
