El-Rufai demolishes 93 houses in Kaduna
Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority has finally carried out demolition of about 93 houses considered to be illegal properties.
The state governor, Nasir El-rufai, in line with his campaign promises had the directed the Agency to issue three weeks' notice to those who built illegally to quit or face demolition.
The General Manager of the agency, Mrs. Saratu Haruna, said that the owners of the demolished properties failed to comply with the directive given by the State Government.
The affected properties are located Alhudahuda College, Zaria, Kaduna state.
According to Mrs. Haruna, the three weeks notice served the owners was enough for them to remove their structures on the encroached land.
She added that the exercise would also be carried in Government Schools and Hospitals across the State.
