SAN FRANCISCO, July 20, (THEWILL) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained Mr. Moses Jibotoh, a former Aide-de-camp and Chief Personal Security Officer to President Goodluck Jonathan.

THEWILL gathered from Presidential Villa sources that Jibotoh, a serving Commissioner of Police, who served as Jonathan's longtime ADC from his days as Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State until he became acting President, was detained by the EFCC on Sunday over allegations of money laundering and fraud in the purchase of bulletproof vehicles for the President and his family.

Jitoboh is the third security aide to former President Jonathan to be arrested by authorities since he left office. The other two are former NSA, Dasuki Sambo and former Chief Security Officer, Gordon Obua.
