Foreign Minister Brende: ‘An attack on the whole of Tunisia'

OSLO, Norway, June 26, 2015/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- 'I condemn today's terrorist attack in Sousse in Tunisia. Once again, ruthless terrorists have carried out a brutal attack on civilians in the country. Our thoughts go to all those who have lost their loved ones,' said Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende.

According to information released by the Tunisian authorities, more than 20 people, including a number of tourists, have been killed in the terrorist attack.

'Today's brutal attack is an attack on the whole of Tunisia. By targeting the country's most important tourist destinations, the perpetrators are attacking the stability and economy of the entire country. It is now vital that the international community stands together with Tunisia in defending the country's positive democratic development,' said Mr Brende.
