He told his NYSC guests the government’s efforts to curb crime, which has earned Imo State the safest State in Nigeria. He said he with his boss, Gov. Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha has been in shock since the news came to their knowledge.

He further described the dastardly act as the handiwork of unpatriotic elements that do not deserve peace. While he insisted that life is sacrosanct, he lamented saying the act is even worse as a corps member who is in Imo for his one year national service is affected.

He therefore concluded that Imo State government shall partner with the security agencies to ensure that the masterminds of the dastardly acts are arrested and brought to book.

Speaking earlier, Mr. Ahile said they had been mandated by the Directorate of NYSC to visit Imo State and to liaise with the State Government and other necessary agencies and establishments to ensure the killers of Frampton face the wrath of law.
