Basketmouth Praised For Hosting Shows Outside Nigeria

It is not often you get to read about how one colleague would sing the praises of another when they are in the same business but comedic Wale Gates cannot hold his tongue about this Nigerian comedian.

Wale Gates this morning could not hold back his praises for one of Nigeria's foremost comedian, Basketmouth who has been delivering all kinds of special shows in his career.

"I always worry about praising this man because I hate to be seen as ass kissing #Maybe You dey Beg For Show. But I have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for him, apart from the fact that he is a brilliant comic, it is his constant venture outside his comfort zone Nigeria I find most admirable.

"While many comics (myself included) stay safe in our comfort zone because we don't want to fail, BasketMouth just packs in his bags and heads straight out and I know money is not his motivation because he can make the same amount or more sitting back and performing mainly in Nigeria or Africa as a whole, he loves a challenge and a new crowd always."

The contest keeps on getting hotter for the biggest comedian in the business as Nigerian comedians continue to dish out sold out shows individually and sometimes would not grace the show of other colleagues because of alleged envy and arrogance.
