Imo Guber: Uwajumogu Felicitates With Okorocha....Thanks Imolites For Their Support

The Speaker, Imo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Uwajumogu, has congratulated the state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, over his resounding victory in the recently concluded gubernatorial election in the state.

Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu, whose congratulatory message was signed by his Senior Special Assistant on media, Mr. Emeka Ahaneku, also thanked the people of the state for their focus and high sense of resilience in their stand to ensure the return of the Governor for the second term to complete his visionary and people-oriented programmes for the betterment of the state.

According to him, “the re-election of the performing Governor of Imo state for another four years by the good people of our dear state no doubt, has opened a new vista of opportunities towards consolidating on the gains recorded so far in the Rescue Mission administration in the state, which is also geared towards deepening the state on the path of sustainable development in every sphere of governance”

He maintained that Governor Okorocha’s re-election was an honour well-deserved, owing to the sparkling waves of the CHANGE concept which he said has been brought to bear in the administration of the state within the four years he has been on the saddle, adding that the confirmation of his good stewardship by the good people of the state during the election was indeed the reward for job well-done.

The Speaker, also used the opportunity to appeal to other candidates who contested alongside the Governor, to sheath their swords and rally-round him in the overall interest of the state, as according to him, the electoral process that returned the Governor has been adjudged credible and most peaceful.

While further thanking the good people of the state for trooping out en mass in the renewal of their interest and confidence in the administration of the Governor, Rt. Hon. Uwajumogu, also enjoined them to remain committed and steadfast in interceding prayerfully for the Governor to enable him transform Imo for the better.
