Communities Commend Kwara Speaker Over Amenities Support

The people of Efue and Berikodo communities have commended the Kwara State Speaker over the renovation of school and central mosques of both communities less than a month after he was declared winner of the House of Representatives seat of Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency elections held on 28th March.

The gesture which marks the preamble of the fulfillment of campaign promises has been described by the people of Efue and Berikodo as a timely development which has boosted their confidence in the leadership of Barr. Razak Atunwa whom they said his determined to perform beyond imaginations and place the constituency first among equals.

Speaking with newsmen in Berikodo, the chief Imam of Berikodo, Imam Daudu said the intervention by Barr. Atunwa which is a complete metamorphosing of the Berikodo school and central mosque is one of such gestures of Barr. Atunwa across Asa. He expressed total assurance that Barr. Atunwa's perform at the National Assembly will surpass the expectations of the people.

The Alangua of Berikodo, Alh Ajao Ibrahim, while speaking said the rapid physical transformation of Asa landscape through the state government and Barr. Atunwa's infrastructure renewal plan is a solid indication of a people-centered disposition of the government.

He urged the people of Efue, Berikodo and Asa at large to continue to support the government in its developmental strides.

However, Barr. Atunwa reinstated his support to the people of Asa and Ilorin West, stating that he would ensure the constituency doesn't suffer basic amenities. He also reinstated his commitment towards job creation and empowerment for youths and women.
