INEC declares IMO governorship inconclusive

The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) said Sunday that  the governorship election in Imo state inconclusive.

INEC said that as a result  elections had been  rescheduled in LGA`s  where voting was cancelled due to irregularities

Professor Ibidapo Obe, the returning officer, said the election was  inconclusive because the number of cancelled votes (144,715) is higher than the margin of win (79,529) by Chief Rochas Okorocha,of the All Progressives Congress,

Chief.
Okorocha polled 385,671 while Hon.Ihedioha of the PDP polled 306,142 votes.
