On April 11, 2015 Engr. Chinedum Orji fondly called ‘Ikuku Abia’ by his admirers and the son of the governor of Abia State, will be going to contest the House of Assembly election, to represent Umuahia Central State constituency. It is obvious that this opportunity will give him a befitting prospect to continue to illuminate the quality representation he has been giving to the constituents, even as not a government appointee.

The junior Orji deserves the votes of his constituents because he has remained awake while the periods of social change in Abia State lasts. Orji is a protector of status quo. He is a man who never slept through the social revolutions in the state.

Without doubt, he deserves the votes of his constituents as he goes for the election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), platform. Orji knew that people€™s very survival depended on the people€™s ability to stay awake, hence he started empowering the youths to adjust to new ideas.

He is a man who believes in charity, much as he believes in solidarity. Ikuku Abia will change his constituency if elected a House of Assembly member, as people could see that he has changed many lives to experience positive livings. This is a man who never thought anybody is small to be effective as he has been doing himself.

By voting for Chinedum, the constituents are voting for freedom that will brew human capacities. And individuals will be developed to their maximum. Chinedum is a believer in the fact that powers must be linked to democracy in order to achieve a social betterment, where the people will be prosperous.

A vote for Chinedum Orji, according to Matt McCarte, is a vote that “€¦youth will be encouraged and listened to, and preparations are well thought out, you are set up for success… Having youth on boards and commissions has been a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Youth feel their voice is valued and that they have an impact on city decisions. Adult members benefit from the fresh perspective, optimism, and enthusiasm youth bring to the table.
