Sdp To Beat Other Parties In Adamawa State-gundiri

The Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party,SDP,in Adamawa State,Engr Markus Gundiri,has yesterday stated that his party will have a winning record in the coming Saturday's polls, haven kept a proven and good track records as Permanent Secretary and commissioner in the defunct Gongola State will make him have an edge over others contestants in the April,11 general election.

Markus,who said this in an interview maintained that had meritoriously served the defunct Gongola State as Permanent Secretary in the services of the present Adamawa and Taraba States and are eloquent testimonies to his competence and capability.

He said that SDP is the party to beat as testified by its performance in the last National Assembly election where the party made impressive showing and optimistic that it would make better performance in the next elections.

According to him,he also served a commissioner,in the defunct Gongola state adding that the knowledge of the terrain and the consciousness of the plights of the people would give him an edge over other governorship candidates that were not conversant with Adamawa terrain talk less of knowing the problems of the people.

The SDP governorship candidate also expressed optimism that the party would not only win the governorship elections in the state,but sure of clearing the 25 seats in the Adamawa State House of Assembly because of the track records the candidates fielded by the party.

He also promised that the SDP would not betray the confidence that would be reposed on the party if elected in the forthcoming governorship and House of assembly elections ,adding that the party's social contract with the people would remain sacrosanct.

Gundiri has as well appealed to Adamawa citizens to be wary of those not competent nor have the capability to deliver the goods to the people of the state,adding that the state is begging for development in all its facets and it is only the SDP that could deliver the state from doldrum underdevelopment.
