Gov T.A.Orji Charges PDP Members to Deliver Governorship, House of Assembly Candidates on April 11

Abia State Governor, Chief T.A.Orji has appealed to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in the state to ensure that they deliver the governorship and House of Assembly candidates in the April 11th polls.

Governor Orji who made the appeal at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia, during the Abia Central mini campaign rally, said he has confidence in the candidates.

He urged the Abia Central PDP candidates to remain steadfast in the party and strive to win the remaining elections in the state.

Governor Orji appreciated the Abia Central constituents for delivering all PDP candidates during the presidential and National Assembly elections and urged them to repeat the feat to show that PDP is on ground.

He asserted that PDP is a solid party with prospects for Ndigbo, adding that there is hope for PDP.

Earlier in his speech, the Minister of State for Defence, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd) called on the PDP members to work hard to deliver the governorship and House of Assembly candidates and thanked them for the victory they gave PDP candidates in the March 28 elections.

In his remark, the House of Representatives candidates elect from the zone, Sam Onuigbo and Darlington Nwokocha thanked the Abia Central people for returning them and other PDP candidates in the last election and appealed to them not to give room to any other party in next Saturday's polls.

Other speakers at the event including Prince Vincent Ogbulafor, Chief Allen Nwachukwu and Chief Godwin Amechi, promised to work harder to win all the positions in the governorship and House of Assembly elections slated for April 11th..
