Edo North: Alimikhena Win Senatorial Seat, Urges Defectors To Returns To Apc

The Edo North Senator Elect in the just concluded general election, Barrister Francis Alimikhena has dedicated the victory of his election to God who kept him alive to see his long desired dream of becoming a senator came into fulfillment at a time like this when the nation is seeking for sacrificial leaders of integrity like him who can re-position the nation back on track through effective legislation. He attribute his victory to the love, dedication and support of the Big Edo North family adding that by his victory, the coast is now clear for rapid development in Edo North by re-invigorating ailing industry, address erosion menace that has bedevil Edo North, provision of skill acquisition centres for the youths in the constant provision of revolving loan to farmers, traders and market women as well as regular educational scholarship for deserving Edo North students.

The Senator in the waiting spoke at his constituency office in Auchi while playing host to heads and leaders of various Union and Institutions across party lines who came to congratulate him on his land sliding victory at the polls. He thanked the people for looking beyond party to vote for credibility. He however appeal to those who defected to PDP and SDP to return back to APC before the next election for the State House of Assembly. I am ready to received you people back home so that we can all join our hands together to deliver all our Houses of Assembly Members in Edo North in particular and Edo State in General so that we all can be part of the benefit that is about to break forth in the next few months

According to Alimikhena, “Some people think they have wounded us by defecting from APC but I am glad to tell you today that APC is waxing stronger, better, more democratic and transparent. Don't be ashamed we will welcome you back. APC is the Most United Party in Africa”. On his electoral promises, the senator elect reiterated his commitment to every of his electoral vows. He assures the aged present at the gathering that he will ensure a bill for the proper care of the elderly and less fortunate in the society.
