Buhari's eligibility suit suffers set back as court adjourns judgment to April 22

The suits seeking the pronouncement of the court on the eligibility of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, for theMarch 28, 2015 election has suffered a set back as it has been adjourned till April 22 and 23, 2015.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola of a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday adjourned all the suits challenging Buhari's eligibility.

Justice Ademola fixed the date after he dismissed applications by two intended parties to join the suit as defendants.

The judge said the adjournment would affect all the pending suits against Buhari in his court.

Justice Ademola had consolidated all the suits in a bid to hear them as a single suit since they all relate to Buhari's eligibility.
