On March 1st, popular children cartoon, The Simpsons, aired an episode that had a Nigerian princess visit abroad and related as a 419er. The cartoon depicted that Nigerians could be a people who are fraudsters when they come visiting.

One of Africa's foremost writers of the modern era, Chimamanda Adichie, has appeared in one of the latest episodes of the world acclaimed cartoon series, 'The Simpsons'. The Nigerian will be featured in the titled series, 'The Princess Guide'.

Chimamanda's collection of short plays which was first published in 2009 in the United Kingdom will be making a cameo appearance in the episode which features a Nigerian princess who accompanies her fathe to a mineral resource deal with a businessman and the Simpsons' father is chosen to protect the princess.

A certain relation to the Simpsons believed the princess is related to a Nigerian scammer who duped him of money and intended to exact his vengeance.

Chimamnada has been featured on international musicians albums which have gone on to win awards. She also is an advocate for women's rights and equal justice.
