Fresh Crisis erupted in Kaduna state as soldiers killed two worshippers

Confusion and pandemonium engulfed the people of Gidan Waya,Jama'a LGA in Kaduna state, of how Nigerian soldiers killed two worshippers of st Patrick Catholic church.

Trouble started of an access road that lead to the church (Catholic) and happened to be the only linking road that worshippers of the church do followed every Sunday for a Mass but the Soldiers stationed their to maintained peace and order blocked the road and stop people from following it for their usual Sunday mass.

Exchange verbal vulgar words between the soldiers and the civilian Sunday goers who they came out in hundreds trying to face the armed soldiers, in order to control the situation the army began to shoot in the air to scare them away, some of the youths started stoning the armed soldiers. In an effort to curtail the situation the soldiers exchanged gun shots with the youths which resulted to the dead of two persons.

An eye witness who simply identified himself as Mr John a dealer of coka cola bottling company narrated that;

" Its a battle between soldiers and irate church youths who they always blame the soldiers on duty of been too wicked to put them on pains every Sunday especially the edged people by blocking the only road yo church making many of people to face untold hardship before the could get to church." John said

All effort to get the authority concern prove abortive as their telephones lines always answered "not reachable"

Before now southern Kaduna has been facing all sorts of crisis ranging from religion or communal crisis with Fulani herdsmen.

At the time of filing this report there are indications reprisal attacks by the youths of the area as a new report reaching us youths of the surrounding environment began to blocked all the major roads linking either Abuja,Jos,Kaduna and Kafanchana.
