Former House of Representative member, Hon. Abdualkareem Salihu who equally doubled as Party Leader in Okehi has been accused of diverting Ten Million naira PDP Mobilization fund met for his local government.

The Public Relation Officer of the Peoples Democratic Party in Obeiba Ward I, Mohammed Tijani told our reporter in Ihima yesterday. He said, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, Mohammed Adoke few weeks ago donated N45Million to Kogi Central PDP for the forthcoming general elections.

He explained that with the total sum, N10Million each was given to Okene, Okehi, Adavi and Ajaokuta while Ogori Mangogo local government got N5Million on an account of its small population. The mobilization fund he said was primarily deplored to take care of National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections in Kogi Central.

He added that the fund for each local government was given to respective local government PDP party Leader and in this instance Okehi Local Government share was handed over to Hon. A K Salihu being their Party Leader. Mohammed Tijani equally told EAGLE REPORTERS that the arrangement for the fund was that N6Million would be set aside for the national assembly while the remaining N4Million is for State House of Assembly election in Kogi central.

He hinted that weeks into the disbursement of the fund, the where-about of the said mobilization fund was unknown as Okehi party Leader has not summoned PDP Stakeholders' meeting till date to discuss how to put the fund to use but only to call some favourite followers last week mandating them to provide him their account to deposit their share of fund.

Mohammed Tijani noted that the attitude of Hon. A K Salihu has demonized PDP faithful in Okehi local government as moral is not high with just few weeks to the elections. He said, the ugly development could hinder the chances of Peoples Democratic Party in the forthcoming elections if urgent step is not taking to address the issue.
