Dickson Iroegbu, Amayo Uzo Philips to speak @ MIIP Week In Owerri
...as Charles Awurum, Osita Iheme join lists
In an effort to mark a successful outing for Most Influential Igbo Personalities' presentation/symposium in Owerri, two renowned Nollywood directors, Amayo Uzo Philips and Dickson Iroegbu have all shown commitment and strength to honour their invites as Speakers of the event.
Billed to hold on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at the ultra-modern Ibari Ogwa Village, Owerri, the event took the theme: Upholding A Strong Base For Ndigbo: Our Collective Responsibility.
The duo who will be discussing Igbo's strong base through sustainable development with other prominent speakers would be exploring ideas on how Nollywood as an industry will uphold such vision through the screens and image projection of the Igbo tribe.
Confirming their show of concern, the convener, Ugochukwu Favour-Mayor disclosed that their presence had already been recorded through letters of acknowledgement.
According to Dickson Iroegbu, he stated in his letter that the Igbo's agenda has been his uppermost in mind at all times, stressing that he will trudge on to the much desired great nation the country would be.
In his letter: "I must render my apologies for this late reply. I have received your invite, and I am humbled to have been recognized as an illustrious son of the soil in Igbo land. I will ensure I attend the occasion, as the Igbo agenda is uppermost in my mind at all times as we trudge on to the much desired great nation we want Nigeria to be. Please accept the assurances of my warmest regards," Iroegbu stated.
In anticipation, the likes of screen comedian, Charles Awurum and Osita Iheme have also shown their interest of attending the epoch making event in Owerri, alongside other key speakers and guests outside the Nollywood industry.
