We Neglected OJB Out Of Fear—MI

Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga aka M.I has added his voice on why entertainers were scared to donate kidney for ace music producer, OJB Jezreel noting that they were actually scared of being ridiculed.

In a chat with My Africa Podcast, the singer explained that while the producer was sick, they as artistes were running around trying to raise money for him explaining that he was 100 percent broke and had nothing on him as at when he needed the help.

He stated that what shocked him most was when fellow singer, Normoreloss, began writing letters calling names of some singers who should help but failed.

M.I noted that one of the entertainers was angry after donating a certain amount of money to the producer and on getting home, it had gone viral that he donated the sum N100,000 while others were donating N5 million.

“Already, everybody was in that N100,000 category, of which there was maybe 20, 30 people. Automatically it's like 'Yo, I'm gonna keep my N100,000, I'm not trying to be embarrassed. On the second hand, you have artistes, like myself, who were just confused, if we were to go, what would have happened, what would we see, because it had become a media thing.
