Prince Yuobougha Was Never A Former Aide To Gov Dickson ——Bayelsa Govt

The Bayelsa State Government has reacted to reports in some sections of the media, referring to one Prince Lucky Yuobougha as a former aide to Governor Seriake Dickson, describing the reports as false, misleading and the handiwork of mischief makers.

A Government House statement explained that, Prince Yuobougha was never an aide to Governor Dickson, but was rather the special Assistant on Protocol to the former Governor and All Progressive Congress, APC Chieftain, Hon. Timipre Sylva.

In as much as the Government would not want to condescend so low to join issues with anybody on this issue, we wish to place on record that, Prince Yuobougha was at no time an aide to Governor Dickson and the said publication(s) should be disregarded, he was and still remains a personal aide to former Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Timipre Sylva.

The statement also renewed the Government's call on the media to always cross check their facts before going to the press, so as not to mislead the public.
