Bimbo Daramola gets APC House of Reps’ ticket in Ekiti

Deputy chairman House Committee on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Hon Bimbo Daramola has clinched the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to run for another term in office to represent Ekiti North Federal Constituency 1 at the Federal House of Representatives.

Daramola in a landslide victory emerged the party's House of Representatives candidate on Sunday December 7, 2014 after scoring 496 votes of 763 total votes cast.

Others who participated in the free, fair and transparent primaries were Adeyanju Simeon, 31 votes , Awotuku Bunmi, 121 votes, and Owolabi Peter scored 112 votes. Three votes were declared invalid by the umpire of the process.

Hon Daramola after is victory said: ''History is once again made and I sincerely express my profound gratitude to God and all our party faithful as well as those who share our beliefs and ideologies for their unflinching trust in my representation thus far. I promise to give you even better representation in the forthcoming 8th Assembly by the grace of God.''
