JUSTICE OLUSEGUN OGUNYEMI WITHDRAWS FROM FAYOSE CASE

Justice Olusegun Ogunyemi of Ado Ekiti High Court has withdrawn from handling the suite

Brought against Governor Ayo Fayose on the eligibility of his participation on the election

That brought him to power.
The Nigerian Voice can confirm his withdrawal notice which was communicated to the lawyers

Of both parties on Saturday, 8th November 2014.
His reasons for the dramatic decision was as a result of alleged threat to his life and that of his family.

Justice Ogunyemi handed the case file to the Chief judge of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodeji Daramola.

Earlier on, Justice Ogunyemi returned the case file but the suite was re-assigned to him till the latest scene of the drama.

E-11, a pro-democracy advocacy group had instituted a court case, challenging the eligibility of Governor Ayo Fayose's candidacy on the election he won against former governor Fayemi.

Some observers think that the case is critical to Ayo Fayose's stay at the Ekiti Government House.
