UNIMAID Resumes For 2014/2015 Academic Session

The University of Maiduguri is to re-open for the 2014/2015 academic session on Monday 20th October 2014

According to a statement issued and signed by the Registrar Mal. Babagana M. Aji and made available to The Nigeria Standard in Maiduguri stated that the Senate at its meeting held on Tuesday 30th Sept 2014 approved the Registration of New Students to commence on Wednesday 22nd October 2014 and that of Returning Students on Monday 3rd November 2014 while Lectures for all students will commence on Monday 10th November 2014 while registration for all students ends on Monday 24th November 2014 with Matriculation coming up on Tuesday 25th November 2014.

The remaining calendar of events for the University indicated that the first semester examination for education, Law, GST, LLF 190 and English courses begins on Monday 26th January 2015 while first semester 2014/2015 examination for all students begins on Monday 2nd February 2015 and ends on Monday 23rd February 2015.

Lectures for second semester 2014/ 2015 the Calendar further indicated, begins on Monday 2nd March 2015 and examination for education, law, GST, LLF 190 and ENG 101 courses will commence on Monday 22nd June 2015 and examination for all students On Monday 29th June 2015 to end on Saturday 25th July 2015 with sessional break starting on Saturday 1st August 2015.

Staff, parents, guardians and students are therefore advised to take note and adhere strictly to the stipulated dates as no excuses will be taken for lateness or non compliance.
