Agatha Amata:The Rave TV goddess of Nigeria-

For eleven years, I have been with Inside-Out Media Limited, after six years of formation of this formidable talk show programme in Nigeria, Agatha Amata is worthy to be emulated in all ramifications. I joined Inside-Out Media Limited when Agatha Amata was using University of Lagos (UNILAG) law auditorium to record her weekly talk show programme that engaged extensively on the Nigerian youth and experts on different fields of study. I took special interest in watching Inside-Out with Agatha Amata on the first Nigerian private Television Station “African Independent Television (AIT) in 1998.Inside-Out with Agatha Amata was my best programme with the sole passion to express my own opinion about the society. My interest in Inside-Out has paved way for me in terms of the journalism profession and other media engagements in life.

Agatha Amata was born in 1970 to a humble family background whose parents were solely concerned about the future of their children. Agatha Amata married to the former Nigerian actor and a film producer, Fred Amata whose origin from Isoko North and Agatha Amata from Delta Igbo of Delta State. Agatha Amata developed her passion from the University days while in Jos as a student then. She made good grade in her SSCE including English Language and Mathematics but had to obey her parents to choose a science course. Though she studied Science course at the university but pursed her passion at English language and film production in Nigeria and abroad. Agatha Amata did not just start from the top like that but was journalistically determined to succeed in her passion. Inside-Out Media Limited is one of the longest television talk show programmes in Nigeria with one intellectual focus. Agatha Amata remains the Oprah Winfrey of Nigeria with journalistic determination to make Nigerian youths to fulfill their destinies. Agatha Amata has touched the lives of widows, orphans, widowers and others in Nigeria. She is a caring TV goddess of Nigeria with great acceptability. Many TV presenters in Nigeria have come and gone but Agatha stood her ground in spite of high profile challenges in the media industry. There is a popular saying that a patient dog eats the fastest bone which Agatha Amata has become a household name in Nigeria. At 44, Agatha Amata has reached the zenith of her career without mincing words. One thing about Agatha is that, she does not copy peoples' presentations or compete on television rather does what her passion leads her. Many a time, people have asked this one million question, how does Agatha Amata makes her money from Inside-Out Media Limited or FESECA?If God gives you career, he will surely bless you with it. Agatha Amata is a distinguished TV presenter of 21st century who interprets her passion better than any other person in life. In one of the interviews granted by journalists at Inside-Out 15th anniversary, one journalist put a question to her, after 15years, what next? Agatha Amata quickly responded to the journalist in affirmative.

Agatha Amata was determined to succeed in life in terms of recording studio where Inside-Out audience recording was moving from one part of Lagos to another while her office then was still located at Surulere,little did nobody knew that Agatha Amata had a bigger plan of owning a television station in Nigeria. She later moved from Surulere to Illupeju axis of Lagos. Even when Inside-Out with Agatha Amata was still looking for audience to record her weekly programme little did she know that one day Inside-Out Media Limited will be the eyes of the Nigerian youth? Agatha Amata deserves a national award in all levels of electronic media in Nigeria. She is a media professional that understands the nitty-gritty of media leadership without hestitation.She belongs to several media organizations and others. She is not a leader that ignores her workers but listen to them attentively with positive respond to their opinions. Inside-Out Media not only brought academic enlightenment to the youths only but also brought political and economic solutions to Nigeria's problem. Agatha Amata knew where she was going and she never bothered on the challenges facing the media industry. Inside-Out with Agatha is viewed on 16 Nigerian television stations including Star times and DSTV. Agatha Amata also featured on the Daily Independent newspaper as a columnist where she used her journalistic media to project inside-Out and societal issues. Inside-Out with Agatha Amata has helped many Nigerian widows and orphans to fulfill their promising future. Inside-Out media gave birth to Foundation for Effective Socio-Economic Change in Africa (FESECA) and Rave TV.FESECA is all about empowering the less privileged ones in the society. She is a woman of virtue with extraordinary legacies. Agatha's several celebrations of life, Agatha at 40, Inside-Out at 10 and Inside-Out at 15 marked the beginning of innovation in the Nigerian media. She has received over 50 awards both local and international. Among the top A-list TV presenters like Mo Abudu,Cordelia Okpei,Ronke Bello,Agatha Amata is one determined TV presenter who has done extraordinary things in Nigeria. Agatha Amata is a woman of two children who decided to work out her future by remained a single mother without remarrying. Rave TV channel covers all programmes including news stories with highly trained media professionals. Agatha Amata has succeeded in training and retraining her staffs to fit in with the 21stcentury media knowledge. She is a down-to-earth media professional who is not carried away by the things of the world and ready to accept you at any given time. Inside-Out with Agatha Amata is a training ground for any youth, that wants to make progress in his or her career in life.Today, Inside-Out media has produced young media professionals like Victor Okpala of Eagle Eye,Godday Odidi of Mindset Media Limited, Festus Okenwa,Food Supplement consultant, Future Nigeria,Nwachukwu Igwilo, LASU lecturer, Barrister Dominic and just mention but a few. Agatha Amata has done credible works in the media. She is not just receiving awards from media organizations but only giving awards to credible Nigerians. Agatha is one Nigerian woman that has international recognition and foresight knowledge of both the electronic and print media. Agatha also went into Inside-Out magazine publishing but only stopped to understand the market terrain. At 44, Agatha Amata is the only Nigerian female TV presenter who has remained unswerving in her profession and diversified into different media businesses including health matters. She sees other peoples' problems as her own. Agatha is a very simple woman with integrity. One thing about Agatha Amata is that she listens to other peoples' opinions and ready to offer distinctive solution to it. As an ardent follower of Agatha Amata, you must not make her angry, unless you want to truncate the relationship with her.
