Olowude, IGI Insurance Company CEO is dead

The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of IGI Insurance Company Nigeria,  Mr. Remi Olowude, is dead, THE CITIZEN has learnt. According to a family source who confirmed the story said that Oluwode, an accomplished economist, died from an undisclosed ailment abroad. He said that the news had not been broken to other members of the deceased family,  there’s no official announcement yet. However,  THE CITIZEN learnt that the doyen of Nigerian Insurance sector was flown abroad a fortnight ago for medical attention but the undisclosed illness aggravated in the last few days,  culminating to his untimely death. At press time, there is no statement yet from his insurance company.
