APC Is A Group Of Inconsistent Lump -PDP

By Rivers State PDP

Amused by the persistent inconsistencies and double talks of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, the State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has described governor Chibuike Amaechi and his stooges being foisted as APC leaders as a bunch of confused bedfellows with conflicting mindsets.

Buttressing this impression, the PDP in a statement signed by the Special Adviser, Media to the State party Chairman, Jerry Needam said the APC before now posited that Hon. OCJ Okocha, SAN was responsible for the judicial crisis in the State but is now blaming the problem on the Minister of State for Education and PDP Leader, Chief Barr Nyesom Wike.

The PDP also castigates the APC for denying its earlier position that Amaechi's refusal to conduct council elections in the State was out of fear of losing to the PDP which it has corroborated by accepting that the reason was the fear of Wike and not the PDP as if there is a difference between the PDP as a party and its leadership.

Another pointer to the confusion rattling the APC in its online press statement dated Tuesday, September 23, 2014, is the sharp contrast between the party and Gov Amaechi over the council elections in the state, the PDP notes.

While Amaechi had announced while swearing in his new caretaker committees that council elections will be held after the general elections next year, the APC is hitching the conduct on the National Judicial Council (NJC) giving up on Hon. Justice Daisy Okocha to enable Amaechi appoint his choice of Chief Judge of the State.

“From all this, it's obvious that the problem of the APC is self-inflicted and is not likely to end except it begins to look inward and stop beating about the bush,” the PDP declared.
