Jonathan Raises Panel On National Conference Report

President Goodluck Jonathan has raised a panel comprising mostly members

of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, to study the report of the just

concluded National Conference and draw up implementation strategy.

A statement signed by Mr. Oise Johnson from the office of the Secretary to

the Government of the Federation, SGF, said while the committee is

expectedly to take off immediately, it will advice Government on all

matters necessary for the implementation of the report.

The statement reads:
APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE ON 2014 NATIONAL CONFERENCE REPORT

His Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr.

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, has approved the composition of a

Presidential Committee to study and draw up the Implementation Strategy

for the 2014 National Conference.
2.The Committee is composed as follows: (i)Mohammed Bello Adokie, SAN

Honourable Attorney-General of the    Federation & Minister of

Justice-Chairman (ii)Senator Idris A. Umar Honourable Minister of

Transport-Member (iii)Ambassador Bashir Yuguda Honourable Minister of

State for Finance-Member (iv)Mr. OsitaChidoka Honourable Minister of

Aviation-Member (v)OloyeOlajumokeAkinjide Honourable Minister of State for

Federal Capital Territory Administration- Member (vi)Architect Mike

Onolememen Honourable Minister of Works-Member (vii)Senator Anyim Pius

Anyim,GCON Secretary to the Government of the Federation-Member/ Secretary

3.Terms of Reference are as follows: (i)To study the Report of the 2014

National Conference. (ii)To articulate the recommendations therein and

develop appropriate strategies for its implementation. (iii)To advise

Government on all matters necessary for the effective implementation of

the Report.
4.The Committee is encouraged to take off immediately. Oise D. Johnson,
