A powerful explosion suspected to be a home-made bomb Saturday night blasted a football viewing centre in Jos, capital of Plateau State.

This is coming just about a week after a similar bomb killed over 100 persons in the same city.

Witnesses told Pointblanknews.com that the explosive detonated in a centre on Bauchi Road. The viewing centre was packed with football fans.

“An explosion just ripped through a viewing centre on Bauchi Road, near the Red Cross office. The place was packed with people. The casualty figure is expected to be high,” the source offered.
