FG COMMISERATES WITH BALA MOHAMMED

The Federal Government has expressed its sympathy over the recent demise

of Hajiya Aishatu Mohammed, the mother of the Minister of the Federal

Capital Territory (F. C. T.), Bala Mohammed.
The Vice President, Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo, representing President

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was at the residence of the Late Hajiya Mohammed

during the three days prayer held at the old G.R.A. Bauchi, Bauchi State

to commiserate with the family and the state government in their moment of

sorrow.
Vice President Sambo described death as a final destination of all

mankind. Arc. Sambo said that, “Hajiya Mohammed has lived a fulfilled

life; it was her time to go and God took her”. He prayed Almighty Allah to

forgive her sins, give her eternal rest and grant to the family the

fortitude to bear the loss. He called on Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, a

renowned Islamic scholar in the country to offer further prayers for the

peaceful repose of her soul and also for Nigeria. Vice President Sambo

paid a private visit to the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwan Suleiman Adamu.

Earlier, the Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda thanked the Federal

Government for identifying with the family and the state government in

this moment of grief saying that it demonstrated the people oriented

leadership of the Jonathan-led administration. He prayed God to reward all

abundantly.
Present at the event were the children of the deceased, Adamu Mohammed the

Wakilin Bauchi and District Head of Duguri, her daughtersm asma'u and

Maijida. Others included Yayale Ahmed, the former Secretary to the

Government of the Federation (SGF), some ministers, religious leaders and

dignitaries.
