A member of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Iheasimuo Nwogu is dead.

According to the Assembly, Nwogu, chairman of its committee on transport, died on March 28, 2014. The cause of death wasn't stated.

He represented Aba South constituency.
The lawmakers declared a week of mourning for their departed colleague, suspending all legislative activities during the period.

Popularly known as “Onye Keke”, the late lawmaker was married and the union blessed with three children.

His burial plans have not been made public.
